This place was a great fit for a quick weekend visit in Sturbridge with great value. The room was huge and clean. The breakfast had a cool waffle station my son loved. Be prepared for basic amenities but good enough for a short stay.

The setting was excellent, close to beautiful and historic Sturbridge, a lovely pond and, in October, gorgeous fall colorful foliage, and all attractions. It also was on Interstate. The queen room we stayed in were nicely updated with a balcony.

A Cozy Retreat with Fine Views
The King Room offered amazing lake views, especially during sunrise. The breakfast spread was plentiful, with fresh pastries and local fruits. Tip, Enjoy a morning walk along the pond for serene beauty!

The hotel is located close to a 1771 pub that carries a lot of history and is a good place to eat. The room we stayed in looked out over the small lake and was very pleasant. The area seemed to be in a good neighborhood and secure.
The bathroom had ceiling tile that had mildew and appeared to be falling out of the ceiling. The wall around the air conditioner also had mildew. All the floor lamps in the room leaned at about a 20 degree angle which made me think I was on a ship sometimes...there were matching leaning lamps in the lobby.

Price, convience.
The front desk staff was great. The housekeeping staff opened my door while I was in the shower, left it open while all my valuables were on the bed. that was unsafe.

Good dishes.
Fairly clean place with stunning view of the lake. Recently renovated room and pet-friendly, comfortable bed. Knowledgeable staff, friendly check-in and superb bar. Coffee and tea served in the morning. Excellent central location, next to restaurants in the village karma in the Sturbridge main attraction, the highway exit, and shops and resraurants. Also, by lake. Really had pleasant stay on a business trip...

overall a nice stay but some improvements needed
The room was clean and well-maintained. I appreciated the quick response from the staff regarding the AC issue, as they replaced it while I was away. Watching the lake from my balcony was a peaceful experience that added to my stay.
The hotel felt a bit dated .

I loved enjoying the peaceful balcony view of the lake and the hot breakfast with waffles and eggs was a perfect way to start the day after exploring nearby attractions like old sturbridge village, just a little over a kilometer away, and the quinebaug river water trail, only about a 500-meter stroll from the hotel. It's also great for single travelers like me with a clean, quiet room.
